Ego? Or Education?

Man, I can talk my ass off. I do interviews most every week. TV, radio, print, web... I give good copy. But now and then one or another just stands out.

I was recently asked to be part of an interview "competition" for an internship at Body Modification eZine, a site that I've been a part of since day one. I was actually the very first interview they ever did.

For this interview I was assigned to a mystery journalist and worked closely with him to get a decent interview put together. "My guy" is up against six or seven other writers in a process that will see the winner move to La Plaz Mexico and become Shannon's right hand man. It's pretty exciting as it has the potential to be a life changing event for the winner.

Over the years I've watched --not without pride-- at how BME has grown. I've seen Shannon build the site to one of the most highly trafficked on the entire web, seen him fall in love, have a child, post incredibly insightful political and cultural commentary...
